Product Manager · B.Arch 2021 · Computational Design
Product thinking at the intersection of architecture & technology.
Architect by training, product thinker by inclination. Self-taught developer. Five years at Officebanao — the last two and a half defining, designing, and shipping internal tools for the people I trained alongside — most of it without a dedicated engineering team.
Selected work
- 01In ProgressNative App · BIM / ArchitectureNative BIM Platform
Building the core BIM elements now. Target for September: ready for the space-planning stage this replaces. Native from the ground up — the direct answer to where the web version ran out of room.
- 02PausedInternal Tool · Space PlanningSpace Planner
All planned features delivered — drag-and-drop furniture, parametric handles, area calculations. Parked post-testing when stability issues emerged. Feedback from the space planning team is now shaping a native desktop rebuild.
- 03LiveInternal Tool · Studio OperationsStudio Task Manager
Replaced WhatsApp threads and spreadsheets with a production-grade multi-module suite. The scheduling module is live across 4 active projects. Built without a dedicated engineering team.
- 04LiveSketchUp Plugin · AI-Native RenderingSketchUp Render Plugin
Analyze a SketchUp view and every element gets a pin holding its real material and what it should become; the render prompt is assembled from those pins, with a typed note optional. 360° capture, shareable virtual tours, colour grading and video live in the same plugin.

About
I'm Sathwick, an architect by training and a product thinker by inclination. I graduated with a B.Arch in 2021, but my interest in how buildings are designed was always as much about the process and the tools as the outcome. Computational and parametric design pulled me toward the technical edge of architecture — writing scripts, building geometry systems, thinking about design as something that could be authored rather than just drawn.
That curiosity led me into product. Five years at Officebanao — the first two and a half as a computational designer and architect, the last two and a half defining, designing, and shipping internal tools: a native BIM platform, a spatial test-fit canvas, a studio operating system, an AI rendering pipeline. Built for the people I trained alongside: architects, designers, and the teams that manage them.
I sit at an intersection that's genuinely rare. I understand the domain from the inside. I'm fluent enough technically to work directly with engineers and have informed opinions about the stack — and when I need to, I build with AI-assisted tools, which means I've shipped real products without a dedicated engineering team. And I care about the experience of the person using the tool as much as the problem it solves.
Currently PM at Officebanao, and open to the right next thing — ideally at a company building software for the built environment.
